چکیده
Abstract Globally, robots can be described as some sets of moving parts that are dedicated to a task while using their own energy. Yet, humans commonly qualify those machines being intelligent, autonomous or able learn, know, feel, make decisions, etc. Is it merely way talking does mean could eventually more than complex set parts? On the one hand, language robotics allows multiple interpretations (leading sometimes misreading confusion in various contexts). other status is challenged and by technical achievements humans’ empirical beliefs. In this paper, we follow linguistic approach order explore relevance these words when about robots. Since note impose themselves (even if opposed), discuss efficiency rhetorical strategy work with such lexicon robotics. More precisely, argumentative technique dissociation notions through study practical case: case robot lawn mowers versus hedgehogs.

D-Theory: Talking about Talking about Trees
Linguists, including computational linguists, have always been fond of talking about trees. In this paper, we outline a theory of linguistic structure which talks about talking about trees; we call this theory Description theory (D-theory). While important issues must be resolved before a complete picture of D-theory emerges (and also before we can build programs which utilize it), we believe t...

متن کاملA Matter of Perspectives: Talking About Talking About Topic Maps
This presentation is a contribution to the discussion about the future of semantic technologies, and more specifically the discussion about the proposed Topic Maps Reference Model. In this paper I will attempt to show that the terms which are used to describe the work being done in the semantic technologies are somewhat misleading, and I will propose using the term "perspective" instead of the ...

متن کاملTalking about Causing Events
Questions about the nature of the relationship between language and extralinguistic cognition are old, but only recently has a new view emerged that allows for the systematic investigation of claims about linguistic structure, based on how it is understood or utilized outside of the language system. Our paper represents a case study for this interaction in the domain of event semantics. We adop...
